Our Sunday lunch- Whole wheat thin crust Pizza accompanied with warm Mushroom soup to deal with harsh Delhi winters.
The thin crust pizza base is made from scratch along with home made garlicky pizza sauce. Loaded with veggies and less of mozzarella cheese. I included some achari flavors as well to suit our Indian taste buds. Little A was too delighted with the entire process of assembling the pizza and ofcourse with the taste.

The mushroom soup here has no cream but the butter, milk and few spices makes it very comforting and delicious. Sharing a quick recipe below if you wish to try-
Take 1 tbsp of butter and heat it in a wok.Add few chopped garlic cloves and 1/2 onion. Saute them till the onions become soft. Add 2 cups of chopped mushrooms and cook them for 15 min at low flame. After that add salt, black pepper, garlic powder and 1 tbsp of whole wheat flour/ corn flour or APF. Saute it again for 5 min. Keep on stirring. Now add 1/4 cup of water and 1/2 cup of milk.At this point you can either grind everything or if you like chunks of mushrooms let the soup simmer for 15 min till it becomes slightly thick. Garnish it with chopped corriander leaves, mixed herbs and serve hot.
