A quick pic of today’s lunch that I didn’t share on my story! On my plate, clockwise-
🌿 Masala Bathua pooris- Little A’s favorite pooris these days and with all the greens available in abundance, I am making them quite frequently .
Here’s a quick recipe- Wash and blanch bathua, grind it into grinder using a small piece of ginger and green chilli ( optional) Take whole wheat flour, add salt, ajwain, fennel seeds, red chilli powder, corriander powder, little garam masala and 2tsp melted ghee. Knead the flour with bathua puree to form stiff tight dough and make pooris.
🌿 Cabbage Stir Fry- Simply cooked in musturd oil with mustard seeds, curry leaves, green chilli and salt.
🌿 Aloo matar with no onion and garlic. Cooked in tomato puree along with basic indian spices and garnished with loads of fresh corriander leaves.
🌿 Mint raita and some salad
A very hearty and wholesome weekday meal 💚
