Calling all pie lovers; just a reminder for your leftover food on Christmas, Give these delicious mini turkey masala and chutney pies a try. Check my reel for full video recipe.

Ingredients:
-1 onion finely chopped.
-3 garlic finely cloves
-thumb of ginger finely chopped.
-1 chilli finely chopped.
-170g turkey thigh pieces.
-Spices: 1tsp of cumin seeds, salt, turmeric, garam masala, coriander powder (chilli powder – optional)
-Passata 5 tbsp
-Water
-1 sheet of; shortcrust puff pastry and puff pastry @jus_rol
-Egg wash.

Method.
– Gently fry cumin seeds, add onions and cook until golden brown
– Add ginger, garlic, chilli and cook until brown, (another 5-10 minutes)
-Add all the spices and cook for a few minutes before you add in the passata. Cook until you see a film of oil.
-Add the turkey and coat well.
-Add some water, so the Turkey is covered.
-On a low heat, cover and cook for 30 minutes. If you are using left over Turkey then simply cook and cover for 5 mins.
-Add coriander.
-Roll out the short crust and using a large glass cut out circles and place in greased tin.
-Add a spoon of filling so 2/3 full.
-Add a tsp of chutney.
-Cut smaller circles from the puff pastry and pinch closing the pie. Piece tops with a fork.
-Egg wash the tops and cook for 20-22 mins until golden brown.
