This was a clear winner recipe and a easy 10 minute baked doughnut share.
I’m all about easy, quick and tasty recipes and this one ticks all the boxes. If your craving something sweet, it’s so soft, tasty and made in 10 minutes!
-85g plain flour
-1/2 tsp baking powder
-1/4 tsp ground nutmeg and cinnamon.
-pinch of salt
-60ml milk/use soy
-1/2 tsp vanilla extract
-70g butter, softened
-65g caster sugar
-1 egg / use alternatives
-1 tsp cinnamon.
-Whisk flour, baking powder, cinnamon and nutmeg and salt together in a bowl.
-In a bowl, stir milk and vanilla extract together.
-Beat butter and 65g caster sugar together in a third bowl, (by hand or mixer, and best in an egg.
-Fold in the flour to the butter mixture slowly adding the milk until batter is smooth.
-Spoon batter into a piping bag and pipe into doughnut mould tray or muffin tray, about 2/3-full.
-Bake in the preheated oven until a skewer inserted in the centre of one doughnut comes out clean, 10-12 minutes.(until tooth pick comes clean)
-Pop the doughnuts out and mix the sugar and cinnamon together in a bowl; add warm doughnuts and gently toss until coated.
-This made 11 mini doughnuts, or 6 medium size ones.
-I bought a mini doughnut mould. Super cheap and easy/ dm me so I can send you link. Definitely worth investing as il be making them again.
-Piping the doughnuts made it easier. If you don’t have one you can simply spoon it in.
